Hyderabad witnessed a landmark Indo–US healthcare meet as the leadership of the American Medical Association (AMA), led by President Dr Bobby Mukkamala, interacted with Indian physician leaders. The evening honoured Dr Mukkamala, the first Asian-American and first Indian-origin President in the AMA’s 180-year history.

The study, involving a team of University of Utah researchers, examined health care personnel, first responders and other frontline workers in the US.

The study, which was conducted in collaboration with Stanford University, appeared in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
