The Governor stated that Independence Day is both a day of remembrance and dedication. He emphasized that the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters have allowed us to enjoy the benefits of freedom. "It is a day to recommit to the noble ideals of truth, non-violence, peace, solidarity, and brotherhood that guided our national struggle for freedom," Nazeer noted in a press release from the Raj Bhavan.
