The Andhra Pradesh government has deposited Rs 1 lakh each into the bank accounts of 333 Hajj pilgrims who departed from the Vijayawada embarkation point, fulfilling Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s election promise. Pilgrims expressed gratitude to the government and offered prayers for the state’s welfare.
