The update for Redmi 8 has the firmware version V12.0.1.0.QCNINXM while the Redmi 8A's firmware is V12.0.1.0.QCPINXM. The former weighs around 2.1GB while the latter is about 1.8GB in size, reports GizmoChina.

The device includes Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition, Mi 10 Youth Edition, along with other K series and Note series smartphones, reports GizmoChina.

As per report, the firm will be suspending weekly MIUI beta builds from December 14, 2020, because it will be focusing on the release of MIUI 12.5.
