While Shyam and his mother were proceeding towards Bujarampet, he stopped the bike and jumped into river Manjeera. Balamani also jumped into the river after him.
The mother-son duo has been identified as Vadla Balamani (45) and Vadla Shyam (28), residents of Chintakunta village. The police are trying to retrieve the bodies.
