Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has strongly condemned the lynching of Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh, describing it as barbaric and inhuman. In an Instagram post, she urged people not to ignore such violence and called out communal extremism.
Bangladesh’s interim government has confirmed the arrest of ten people in connection with the lynching of 25-year-old garment worker in Mymensingh’s Bhaluka. Das was beaten, hung from a tree, and his body set on fire over alleged blasphemy.
