The raids were connected to the blast at the Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru on March 1.

The NIA on Saturday produced the arrested bomber Mussavir Hussain Shazib and his accomplice Abdul Matheen Taha before the magistrate court judge at his residence in Koramangala locality of Bengaluru.

Sources indicate that the NIA conducted raids at five locations within Bengaluru city and several residences in Thirthahalli town, located in the Shivamogga district.

The NIA announced a Rs 10 lakh reward for his arrest.

Shabbir's arrest follows thorough investigative work by the NIA, which assumed control of the case on March 3rd.

The raids were being conducted in Chennai and Cuddalore.
