Narendra said the Centre is under any misconception that it can “cull” the farmers' protest like it has "culled" other agitations in the past using various tactics.
He said what the farmers protesting against the new laws have highlighted is that there is no law on MSP, because of which traders loot them by buying crops at lower prices.
Around 500 protesters stayed put at the UP Gate with more pouring in from western Uttar Pradesh in the night on the call of the BKU, an influential farmers' union in north India.
"The govt proposed to suspend the farm laws for one and a half years. We rejected the proposal but since it has come from the centre we will meet tomorrow and deliberate over it," Joginder Singh Ugrahan said.
