Singh was arrested on Saturday by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), while her husband was taken into custody on Sunday morning following seizure of ganja (cannabis) from their house in suburban Andheri.
In their bail pleas, Singh and Limbachiya sought to be released saying they do not have any criminal antecedents and hence there is no question of them absconding.
Both Bharti and her husband Harsh Limbachiya accepted consumption of Ganja. Bharti Singh has been arrested and examination of Limbachiya is underway, NCB said in a release.
The NCB teams landed at their premises in Andheri, Lokhandwala Complex and Versova areas and were carrying out search operations, details of which were awaited.
