Six Indian boxers, including Aditya Pratap and Gaurav Chauhan, entered the finals of the Seychelles National Day Boxing Tournament 2025 with dominant semifinal wins. The contingent is eyeing multiple gold medals at the event in Mahe on Sunday.
All six Indian boxers in action progressed to the semi-finals, maintaining the team’s strong performance in Amman. In the men’s under-15 category, Harsil (37kg) and Sanchit Jayani (49kg) earned dominant 5-0 victories, while Sanskar Vinod Atram (35kg) secured a convincing 4-1 win.

Boxer Pooja Rani successfully defended her title after outpunching in-form Mavluda Movlonova to clinch her second successive gold as Indian women ended its campaign with one gold, three silver, and six bronze medals.
"The 10 boxers are recovering but overall, it might impact India's preparation for next month's Asian Boxing Championships to be held at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi Indoor Sports Complex (IG Stadium)," a national-level boxing coach said.
