PM Modi was accorded a ceremonial welcome and Guard of Honour upon his arrival at the airport and 38 Ministers as well as four Members of Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago were present to welcome him.
The seven pillars form the acronym C-A-R-I-C-O-M. They are Capacity Building, Agriculture and Food Security, Renewable Energy and Climate Change, Innovation, Technology and Trade, Cricket and Culture, Ocean Economy and Medicine and Healthcare
