A widespread internet outage hit Hyderabad on Wednesday, disrupting IT work and online transactions. ISPs blamed indiscriminate cable cutting by TGSPDCL, while COAI warned of severe service disruptions. Frustrated citizens lashed out on social media as restoration timelines remained unclear.
The Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, referring to the theme of the event titled “Innovate to Transform,” highlighted that it underscores and articulates the idea that innovation has always been at the heart of India’s journey of transformation
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has decided to take the lead on this issue, as was conveyed during a recent meeting of the Joint Committee of Regulators (JCoR)
