Gujarat’s proposed 103-hectare desert-themed zoological park and drive-through night safari at Juna Deesa has received Central Zoo Authority approval. The Rs 542.14-crore project is expected to house around 2,700 animals and birds across nearly 83 species
This was informed by PCCF Chief Wild Life Warden Mohan Chandra Pargaien, who has inspected the Kakatiya zoo and reviewed various activities on Saturday.
These animals will be kept at the new 10-acres extension facility, adjacent to the existing zoo, and Request for Proposals for the project have been invited.
