Private professional colleges in Telangana, which began an indefinite shutdown on Monday over fee reimbursement arrears, have announced a ‘Chalo Secretariat’ protest with 10 lakh students on November 11, following a massive staff protest at LB Stadium on November 8.
The situation became more volatile as the police, after multiple requests for Sanjay to leave, intervened when he attempted to lead the protesters to the Secretariat.
The police swooped down on hostels at Osmania University, Ashoknagar, Dilsukhnagar, Secunderabad and other places and took the student leaders into custody.
