The Telangana Association of United Kingdom celebrated Chenetha Bathukamma in London and other parts of the UK, with around 2,000 people attending the London event. Participants wore Telangana handloom clothing, exchanged festive greetings and pledged continued support for weavers.
Taking inspiration from BRS working president, KT Rama Rao’s support for the cause of weavers, the TAUK decided to dedicate the event as ‘Chenetha Bathukamma and Dasara’ for wider support and attention to wear handlooms in every occasion.
