South Central Railway announced that the Hyderabad–Tambaram Charminar Express will temporarily originate and terminate at Chennai Beach instead of Tambaram due to redevelopment works at Chennai Egmore station. The change will come into effect from April 5/6 until further notice.
Due to redevelopment at Chennai Egmore, the Hyderabad–Tambaram Express will operate from Chennai Beach until December 31. The Railway Board has also revised the operational days of four express trains between Kacheguda, Chengalpattu, and Puducherry starting in October.
