SCR diverts Charminar Express to Chennai Beach due to egmore works
South Central Railway announced that the Hyderabad–Tambaram Charminar Express will temporarily originate and terminate at Chennai Beach instead of Tambaram due to redevelopment works at Chennai Egmore station. The change will come into effect from April 5/6 until further notice.
Hyderabad: Due to station re-development works at Chennai Egmore, the Hyderabad – Tambaram – Hyderabad Charminar Express will terminate / originate from Chennai Beach (instead of Tambaram), the South Central Railway (SCR) informed the passengers.
Accordingly, Train No. 12759 Tambaram – Hyderabad Charminar Express will originate from Chennai Beach instead of Tambaram from April 6 till until further notice. Similarly, Train No. 12760 Hyderabad – Tambaram Charminar Express will short terminate at Chennai Beach instead of Tambaram from April 5 until further notice.
