The government has notified Bharatiya Vayuyan Niyam, 2026, replacing the 1937 Aircraft Rules from January 1, 2027. The framework covers aircraft safety, licensing, maintenance, airline operations and airport standards, while mandating transparent ticket pricing and fare disclosures
A new book titled Compendium on Civil Aviation Regulations in India, authored by Prof. V Balakista Reddy, Chairman of the Telangana Council of Higher Education, was launched in Hyderabad by IT Minister D Sridhar Babu during the 74th annual meet of the Aeronautical Society of India.
