The Court was hearing a writ petition filed by one Pamu Sudharshanam, alleging harassment and illegal interference by the police in a long-standing civil dispute in Bandlaguda, Nagole.
In a meeting held to review the crime, and law and order situation in the Warangal Commissionerate here on Friday, the commissioner said civil matters were the domains of civil courts and that the police should not interfere unnecessarily in them, except in matters where law and order issues were anticipated
