The fuel crisis in Hyderabad is easing, with queues at most stations thinning. Out of 185 outlets, 165 have stabilised, and normalcy is expected by March 30. Authorities monitor distribution, while the Legal Metrology Department checks for under-filling and tampering.
The arrested duo – Rajashekar and Shaik Shareef in nexus with various fair price shop dealers procured PDS rice from beneficiaries for Rs 10 per kg. They further sold the same rice to tiffin vendors and restaurants at Rs 18 per kg.
