During the Question Hour on Tuesday, Legislative Affairs Minister D. Sridhar Babu addressed a question from BRS MLC Shambhipur Raju in the Legislative Council, stating that no detailed project report (DPR) had been prepared for the project.
In response to a question from BRS MLA T Harish Rao, state Panchayat Raj Minister D. Anasuya Seethakka stated that the amount owed to village Sarpanches (whose tenures have ended) up to November 1, 2024, exceeds Rs 691 crore. She assured that the bills would be cleared soon.
Demanding a compensation of Rs.25,000 per acre to the farmers, KCR, who visited and interacted with farmers in Jangaon, Suryapet and Nalgonda districts, said 200 farmers had lost their lives in just about 100 days of the Congress in power.
