Britannia Industries Ltd on Friday reported a 35.65 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 455.45 crore for the first quarter ended June 2023.

Consolidated revenue from operations increased by 18.5 per cent to Rs 45,411 crore compared to Rs 38,322 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2020-21.

The leading cement producer had posted a net profit of Rs 3,236.85 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago, it said in a BSE filing.
