CPI (M) leader Pothineni Sudharshan Rao accused the Congress government of neglecting the Sitarama Project, meant to irrigate seven lakh acres in Khammam and Mahabubabad districts. He alleged that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy failed to honour his 2024 promise to complete the project by August 2026.
Wyra Government Area Hospital in Khammam district, the native place of Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, is facing severe neglect due to lack of funds and facilities. Despite being upgraded to a 100-bed hospital in 2023, essential equipment and specialist doctors remain unavailable. CPI(M) leader Bhukya Veerabhadram highlighted that patients are forced to wait for days as samples are sent to Khammam for tests.
