French defender Theo Hernandez's brace rescued a point at the death for AC Milan who came from two goals down to draw 2-2 against Parma in the San Siro.

A second-half brace by Ronaldo and a goal from Paulo Dybala saw Juventus claim a 3-1 victory over Genoa at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

"Always great to return to Spain and to Catalunya, always hard to play in Camp Nou against one of the best teams I ever faced. Today we were a team of Champions! A true, strong and united family!

Juventus remained second in Group G, three points behind Barcelona after the Catalan club won 3-0 at Ferencváros.

Ronaldo scored one goal in the match to bring up his 70th home goal in the Champions League, a record haul he now shares with Barcelona's Lionel Messi, Goal.com reported.

Juventus moved a point below league leader AC Milan, which visits Napoli on Sunday

"I was sidelined for a long time, despite having no symptoms and feeling fine. Today I went back to doing what I like, playing football. Cristiano is back, that's the most important thing," the club's official website quoted Ronaldo as saying.

"Ronaldo carried out a check with a diagnostic test (swab) for Covid-19. The exam provided a negative result," the Italian champions said in a statement.

The only possible exemption would be a club which has an active outbreak of Covid-19 with more than 10 new positive cases in a week.

The Portugal star has yet to be cleared to return after testing positive for Covid-19 more than two weeks ago

Rashford's late goal earned United a 2-1 victory away to Paris Saint-Germain last week and at Old Trafford the England striker came on as a second-half substitute and scored three times

Barcelona are top of Group G with six points after two games with Juventus on three. The reverse fixture takes place at the Camp Nou on December 8.

The news comes two days after Ronaldo took part in Portugal's previous Nations League game against France
