Andhra Pradesh has finalised a pre-Cyclone Montha action plan covering PDS stock positioning, fuel readiness, paddy procurement, and relief supplies for cyclone shelters. Tarpaulins, sandbags, and other essentials are ready to protect crops and support post-cyclone distribution.
The IMD has achieved significant improvement in track, landfall, intensity and adverse weather including heavy rainfall, strong wind and storm surge forecast.
