A two-day Mega Farmers’ Mela began at Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University in Hyderabad with participation from women farmers, agricultural experts and students. Ministers and ICAR Director General ML Jat attended the event where awards were presented to women farmers
Raksha Bandhan, a festival celebrating the sacred bond between brothers and sisters, was observed with traditional enthusiasm across Telangana on Saturday. Women tied rakhis on the wrists of their brothers as a gesture of love and protection. Both CM Revanth Reddy and Governor Jishnu Dev Varma extended heartfelt greetings to the people.
This is the first instance of a government school being established in a container in the State. The container school is 25 feet wide and 25 feet long.
