The anti-terror agency took custody of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks mastermind on Thursday evening, on the orders of the Special Court in New Delhi.

The 64-year-old Rana, who is being extradited from the US to stand trial in India for his role in the Mumbai terror attacks that left scores dead, is likely to be lodged in a high-security ward in Tihar jail in Delhi when he reaches India

Rana in his bail plea said that his health is in poor condition, including two heart attack while in custody and two weeks of illness early this year.
