  • Cabinet approves 3 per cent DA and DR hike for central staff, pensioners

    The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved a 3 per cent hike in Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief for 49.19 lakh central government employees and 68.72 lakh pensioners. Effective from July 1, 2025, the hike will cost Rs 10,083.96 crore annually
  • Centre approves 3pc DA, DR hike for govt employees, pensioners

    The DA and DR have been increased from 50% to 53%, effective from July 1. This hike, announced ahead of Diwali, provides significant relief to about one crore Central government employees and pensioners, helping to offset inflation through the biannual revision.
  • Transco increases DA rates for employees, pensioners

    The revised rate would come into effect from January 1, 2024 for employees, artisans, pensioners and family pensioners.
  • No resumption of DA, DR from July 1 for govt employees, clarifies FM

    Taking to Twitter, the Finance Ministry said a fake document is doing rounds on social media claiming resumption of DA to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief to Central Government pensioners.
