The number of people who have recuperated from the disease have crossed 60 lakh. India's coronavirus cases jumped from 10 lakh to 20 lakh in 21 days.

The total recoveries have surged to 59,06,069 pushing the recovery rate to 85.52 percent, while there are 8,93,592 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country.

The authorities had carried out a total of 3,702,607 tests since the outbreak of the pandemic, including 28,280 in the last 24 hours.

The total number of active cases was 570 now. The city reported 59 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.

The total recoveries have surged to 54,27,706, while there are 9,44,996 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country.
