The Civil Aviation Ministry has announced plans to build a defence airport with a civil enclave in Adilabad, Telangana. The facility will feature a runway capable of handling Airbus A320 aircraft. A field visit and Obstacle Limitation Surfaces study are scheduled for April 17, followed by a master plan.
