Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to frame new regulations for temples across the State, modelled on the Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh. At a review meeting on the Basara Gnana Saraswathi Temple’s development, he emphasised spirituality and sanctity, banning political activities within temple premises.
The monarchy has long been considered sacrosanct in Thailand, and is protected by a law that makes defaming senior royals punishable by a prison term of three to 15 years.
