On Day 1 of the Brussels Diamond League final, Indian 3000m steeplechase runner Avinash Sable will make his debut. Ranked 14th in his event, Sable will face top athletes including Ethiopia's Samuel Firewu, Kenya's Amos Serem and Abraham Kibiwot, and Ethiopia's Getnet Wale.
The season finale, set for September 13 and 14, will be a two-day event. The Indian javelin star, who won the 2022 Diamond League, participated in the Doha and Lausanne meets this year, earning 14 points from his second-place finishes. He chose to skip the Zurich leg of the series on Thursday.
