Sub-Inspector Gopal Badane, accused of raping and abetting the suicide of a woman doctor in Maharashtra’s Satara district, has been arrested after surrendering. The doctor’s note also alleged harassment by her landlord and pressure from a politician to falsify medical reports.
The victim was identified as Purohit Kishore Prakashmal (34), a resident of Pradhanampuri Colony in Kapra, who was working as doctor at the Basthi Dawakhana in Alwal
