Hyderabad: Upset at his wedding being cancelled allegedly over him being bald, a doctor died by suicide on the railway tracks between Cavalry Barracks and Bolarum railway station late on Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Purohit Kishore Prakashmal (34), a resident of Pradhanampuri Colony in Kapra, who was working as doctor at the Basthi Dawakhana in Alwal.
As per available information, Kishore Prakashmal was recently engaged with a woman in the presence of family members of both sides. However, subsequently, the engagement was broken and wedding plans were cancelled reportedly after the bride’s family learnt about his baldness. Apart from this, he was also upset over his other personal issues for the past some days.
On Wednesday, he ended his life by jumping in front of a running train on the down main line between Cavalry Barracks and Bolarum railway station.
