Dr Raghu Ram is first from the Indian subcontinent to have been be bestowed with this recognition during the opening ceremony at the 50th Golden Jubilee World Congress of Surgery
Dr. Raghu Ram, founding director of KIMS-Ushalakshmi Centre for Breast Diseases, becomes the third South Asian surgeon to receive the prestigious honor, marking the highest recognition by ASA for international surgical colleagues.
Dr Raghu Ram is the director of KIMS-Ushalakshmi Centre for Breast Diseases and founder-CEO of Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation. He is also the immediate past President of the Association of Surgeons of India.
