The women from various tribal communities are trekking long distances to fetch drinking water from open wells located away from their homes and bore wells situated on the outskirts of villages
The residents said they had no option but to trek for 2 kilometres to fetch a few pots of drinking water from a borewell located on a farm. They said that they were forced to rely on the borewell following the lack of water supply through taps of the drinking water scheme.
