Aswaraopet police arrested a man accused of cheating a resident of Rs 13 lakh by claiming black paper sheets could be converted into Rs 500 notes using chemicals. Police seized black paper bundles, chemical bottles and registered a case against him.
DSP Sathish Kumar said one Puttala Naresh of Petacheruvu under Paloncha town police station limits died on February 11. Naresh’s mother Chukkamma lodged a complaint with the police expressing doubts about his death and a case was registered on February 17.
