Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation plans to install four-bin waste segregation units across its circles. Commissioner T Vinay Krishna Reddy has directed officials to add clear images and symbols to help residents identify the correct bins and improve segregation at source.
The Karimnagar Municipal Corporation is taking strict steps to stop roadside garbage dumping. CCTV cameras, fines starting from Rs 1,000 and name-and-shame measures will be used to track violators and develop the city as a dumper bin-free zone.
