The Telangana High Court, led by Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice G.M. Mohiuddin, heard a batch of PILs challenging the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) works around Hyderabad’s KBR Park. Petitioners highlighted ongoing construction despite the Eco-Sensitive Zone notification of 2020 being contested.
Pramod Sawant said the state government wants a central committee to exclude 40 villages from the list of eco-sensitive areas in Western Ghats of the coastal state.
