BRS leader T Harish Rao accused the Telangana government of delaying the Employees Health Scheme despite collecting premiums from employees and pensioners. He demanded immediate issuance of health cards, refund of deductions and implementation of pending employee welfare promises.
The State government has reconstituted the Board of Trustees of the Employees Health Care Trust to implement the Employees Health Scheme. Headed by the Chief Secretary, the Board will frame implementation guidelines, finalise health card modalities and include employee and pensioner representatives
