Telangana reconstitutes Employees Health Care Trust Board
The State government has reconstituted the Board of Trustees of the Employees Health Care Trust to implement the Employees Health Scheme. Headed by the Chief Secretary, the Board will frame implementation guidelines, finalise health card modalities and include employee and pensioner representatives

Hyderabad: The State government on Wednesday issued orders reconstituting the Board of Trustees of the Employees Health Care Trust (EHCT) for implementing the Employees Health Scheme (EHS). The Board of Trustees was asked to convene a meeting at the earliest and propose guidelines for the implementation of the EHS as well as modalities for issuing health cards.
The new Board of Trustees will be headed by the Chief Secretary as the Chairperson, with heads of 15 departments, including Finance, Health and Medical, Education, Home, General Administration, Municipal Administration, Panchayat Raj and other departments, as members. The Chief Executive Officer of EHS will serve as member-convener. Around 12 representatives from various employees’ associations and pensioners’ associations will also serve as members of the Board.
