Twitter CEO Elon Musk on Monday said that the Twitter team "completed" several works "over night", including improving the reach of retweets and "removed filter causing false negatives".

When a user queried: "Is it just us seeing 'this tweet is unavailable' on more and more quote tweets in the feed, but when you click on it, the tweet appears? @TwitterSupport @elonmusk."

The Elon Musk-run company, which is busy monetising its platform via various means, will also charge an extra $50 per month to add badges to each account affiliated with the brand, reports The Information.

The move is part of the announcement last week that Twitter will take "less severe actions" against user accounts that break its rules, asking them to remove controversial tweets and move on.

The company said it will only suspend Twitter accounts that engage in "severe or ongoing, repeat violations" of its rules.

Musk tweeted: "Next Twitter update will remember whether you were on For You (ie recommended), Following or list you made & stop switching you back to recommended tweets."

Twitter Blue plan starts at $8/month or $84/year in available countries to get the blue checkmark in addition to early access to features.

"View counts will now show on the right side of your Tweet, located between the Like and Share icons. Live on the web, iOS and Android coming soon," the company added.

The company said that it will review applications and allow a limited set of organisations to use the feature.

Musk said that Twitter will publish tweet recommendation code and make account/tweet status visible no later than next month.
