Hyderabad Metro Rail inducted 20 transgender personnel into its security services on December 1, 2025. Trained in induction security programmes, they will enhance commuter safety, assist passengers, monitor baggage, and contribute to a more inclusive and secure metro environment
The CM suggested to avail the services of transgenders as volunteers in streamlining the traffic and providing employment to them on the lines of home guards
