The Telangana Aarogyasri Network Hospitals Association (TANHA) has called off its protest and resumed healthcare services across the state after receiving assurances from Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha. The minister, along with senior officials, held late-night talks with TANHA representatives, promising resolution of both financial and administrative concerns.
Private hospitals across Telangana have indefinitely stopped accepting Aarogyasri and EHS health cards, demanding the release of Rs 1,500 crore in pending bills. Patients now must pay upfront for treatment. The strike follows failed negotiations with health authorities since August
