The Telangana government has lifted the ban on employee transfers, effective May 1–31, 2026, but excluded staff engaged in census duties. Teachers and other employees expressed disappointment as the clause dashed their hopes of relocation.
Charging that there were irregularities in finalizing the seniority list, head nurses and staff nurses staged protests till late in the night on Friday.
