Former TTD chairman Bhuma Karunakar Reddy alleged an act of sacrilege at Alipiri, claiming a Vishnu idol was found amid filth, while the Andhra Pradesh government dismissed it as false propaganda, calling it an incomplete Shani statue abandoned a decade ago.
He said educational institutions should widely propagate the constitutional ideals and the spirit of Telangana movement through the curriculum and expressed his idea of curriculum to be tailored to the local needs.
