Hundreds of Ganesh idols were brought to Hussain Sagar for immersion a day ahead of the scheduled centralised event due to the upcoming lunar eclipse. The early rush, managed by GHMC and police officials using cranes, caused traffic congestion around the lake.
Hyderabad Traffic Police announced diversions across all zones in view of the Ganesh idol immersion procession on Saturday. The main procession from Balapur to Necklace Road will see restrictions, with key routes in South, Central, East, and North zones affected
