GHMC teams, assisted by traffic police, cleared roadside sheds and kiosks around Mindspace in Hitec City to ease traffic congestion. Shopkeepers protested the drive, claiming the sudden removal of encroachments would disrupt their livelihood and demanded reconsideration from authorities.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Rajasekhar posted that despite repeated complaints, the GHMC authorities have not taken any initiative to address the issue.
