Government collects Rs 10,463 crore customs duty on precious metals

The government collected Rs 10,463 crore in customs duty on gold, silver and platinum between May 13 and August 2, Parliament was informed. Gold accounted for Rs 10,040 crore, while silver and platinum contributed Rs 328 crore and Rs 95 crore
