Gold prices extended their decline for a fourth straight session on Friday, with MCX October futures falling to Rs 1,58,100 per 10 grams. Prices have dropped 3.25% in four sessions as investors assess US monetary policy and market signals.

As of Saturday, the price for 22-carat gold per ten grams stood at Rs 63,250, while 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 72,280.
